The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has declared the results of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 exams for the year 2023.
The results were announced at 3 pm on May 15, 2023, and are available on the official website of the board- cisce.org.
Out of the 98,505 students who appeared for the ISC Class 12 exams, 96.93% have passed. The pass percentage for girls was 98.01% while for boys it was 95.96%.
The Heritage School, Kolkata, has once again made West Bengal proud by producing the all India topper in the ISC Class 12 exams 2023. Manya Gupta from The Heritage School, Kolkata, secured an impressive 99.75% in the Humanities stream to become the top scorer in the country.
Several other schools in West Bengal have also produced outstanding performers in the ISC Class 12 exams 2023. The Calcutta Boys School, Jewish Girls' School, Salt Lake Point School, DPS Megacity, St. Xavier's Institution, Panihati, Kalyani Public School, Vivekananda Mission School, Joka, St. Stephen's School, Dum Dum, Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School, Julien Day School, Kalyani, Young Horizon School, DPS Newtown, and St. Augustine's Day School, Barrackpore, are some of the schools whose students have achieved excellent results in the exams.
The CISCE has taken several measures to ensure a fair evaluation of students this year, including an alternative assessment scheme due to the pandemic situation. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the students have shown resilience and dedication in their pursuit of academic excellence.
